Foundation Sires of The Refuge
These are some of the bucks that we've bred over the past 18 years. Some of the older bucks were really something in their day. Each generation of bucks has surpassed their sires by getting bigger at earlier ages. With 18 generations now raised at The Refuge, it’s understandable to realize what we once used for breeder bucks are now considered stocker bucks. I think our genetics have only begun to show their true potential.
