Blade was the first really big 2 yr old we raised. At 2 years old he had 16 points and gross scored 191 inches. We passed on several handsome offers to sell Blade that year and choose to breed him to 10 doe instead. We collected him twice that year, which I still give thanks for in my prayers, and got 127 straws of super quality semen. As he was growing his 3 yr old rack during the Summer of 2003, the unthinkable happened- dogs got in my buck pens and were chasing them. Of the 40 something bucks in the pen only one was hurt.... Blade. He spent 5 ½ weeks at TAMU Veterinarian school for a spinal cord injury. On 8-7-03 I had to put Blade down. The saying goes, why does it always happen to the good ones. This time it happened to a great one. Blade was not only great for his big antlers, but great for his amazing breeding value. All of Blade's sons are big. Through Artificial Insemination we are carrying on Blades legacy. Green 3 is now breeding at Ben Ashmore's. G3 is a A.I. son of 30/30. Scored 146 at 2 years old Junior scored 186 typical at 3 yrs old. He is a son of Texas Sam. Grady is a Mississippi State buck that is primarily of Texas breeding. He was one of our original breeder bucks. His genetics are in many of our foundation doe and many of our breeder bucks today. Killer was a very Typical 4 year old son of Rambler. Killer has sired many nice typical sons, including P101, G21, G11 and G35.

He has the same dam as Apache and his sire was a half brother to Antler King. We're using one of his yearling sons as a clean up buck this year. Panhandle, shown as a 2 year old, was a full twin to Renegade and also has the same dam as Green 55. Panhandle was a nice young typical who died from an antler infection at 3 years old. He scored 186 typical at 3 years old. Rambler has sired several 200

Boss is a Mississippi State buck that was 31 Bubba was owned Mark Ryals. He was one of the first bucks that sold for a bunch of money in Texas. Buckmasters wrote an article featuring Bubba's sale. I believe he is also the sire to Robert Williams' Bones buck. The Bubba line has a huge impact in our breeding program. Pictured @ 4 he scored 196. He did go over 200. Grady is a Mississippi State buck that is primarily of Texas breeding. He was one of our original breeder bucks. His genetics are in many of our foundation doe and many of our breeder bucks today. Lindig Buck was a Mississippi State record book buck that had his semen harvested post mortem by Harry Jacobson. He produced several book sons and had a great breeding value. Score 211.

30/30 is one of the first 300” bucks around. He is also the poster buck for Buck Grub. Bambi 727 is a Robert Williams buck that was a 7X7 yearling. He has been over 200” for the past couple of years. I believe he has some nice young sons at Robert’s place too. Our Spook buck is a maternal half brother of 727’s and their sires are of similar breeding as well. Double Drop is a 209 Dreambuck is the first 300” buck born in Texas. He originates from Tommy Duggar’s breeding operation. He sold Jake the Dreambuck for a reported $450,000 last year. I still can’t believe Texas Sam beat him out for the TDA’s “Best of Show” buck. Ground Zero is a buck I don't know much about, besides he's supposed to be throwing really big sons in South Texas. He's a half brother to Dreambuck.
